The Police Academy is located in the heart of the Netherlands in the city of Apeldoorn, where you will both study and live. The rest of the country is within easy reach using public transport. Amsterdam, for example, is only an hour away by train. Apeldoorn is a city with a great deal to offer, including extensive shopping facilities, an entertainment district and a cinema, as well as a range of cultural attractions such as Paleis Het Loo, a palace which was once owned by the Dutch royal family. The Police Academy is situated in a beautiful forested area close to the Hoge Veluwe National Park.
