Specialist police training 

As a Police Officer, you can take specialist training. These courses are for experienced Police Officers. You can specialise in various fields. Think of including crisis management, enforcement and crime investigation. But also intake and service and leadership. 

You continue to develop as you work through the courses. You specialise in a particular subject or work on becoming even better at what you do. You attend one-day classes or have several days of classes. This is easy to combine with your current duties. In training we often work together with others, such as the unit or other institutions.  

The composition varies between programmes. You could train in a small class. Or we might give you one-to-one guidance. In most programmes, you will receive guidance from a coach or lecturer. You can go to these tutors with your questions.
